A Virgin Voyages Dining Change Just Made a Big Onboard Frustration Disappear!!
I LOVE this Virgin Voyages dining change!! One of the questions we get all the time is…
“What happens if I can’t get into the restaurant I want?”
Well… the answer is NOW YOU CAN! Virgin just made that SO much easier!! They’re rolling out a Virtual Dining Queue across the fleet, and I have a feeling this is going to become one of those features everyone ends up loving.

Virgin Voyages Dining Change
If your favorite restaurant has a wait, you can simply join the waitlist right in the Virgin Voyages app. Then… go enjoy your vacation instead of standing outside a restaurant wondering how much longer it’ll be!
Go grab a cocktail at Sip. Listen to some live music. Catch the sunset on deck. Browse the shops. People-watch in The Roundabout (which is honestly entertainment all on its own)!
Then, when your table is ready… your phone lets you know! THAT is how waiting for dinner should work!!
It’s little touches like this that remind me why I love Virgin Voyages so much. They don’t just build beautiful ships or serve incredible food—they’re always looking for ways to make the experience smoother and more enjoyable. Every update seems to answer a question sailors didn’t even realize they had.

Virgin Voyages Dining Game Changer!
This is one of those updates that makes cruising feel a little more… relaxed! Less panicking when dining reservations open at midnight. More flexibility for those last-minute bookings. And the freedom to decide what you’re in the mood for that day instead of trying to predict your dinner plans months before you even step onboard! I don’t know about you, but I LOVE having options!
To me, that’s more vacation and less waiting… and I’m all for that!!
Here’s when the Virtual Dining Queue is rolling out:
❤️ Scarlet Lady – Already Live!
🛳️ Resilient Lady – July 23
🛳️ Valiant Lady – July 26
🛳️ Brilliant Lady – July 30
I know this might not seem like the biggest announcement Virgin has ever made, but I think it’s one of those quality-of-life improvements that’s going to make a noticeable difference onboard. Sometimes the smallest changes end up being the ones you appreciate the most.
I can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks after trying it! Is this a feature you’ll use on your next sailing? Let me know in the comments!
